The Kodály Certification Program plans to return this summer (Levels I, II and III) July 5-16, 2021. In this two-week intensive program, participants will strengthen their personal musicianship and pedagogical skills, with content grounded in a contemporary understanding of the philosophy inspired by Zoltán Kodály. New this year! Primary Junior Vocal Music Part 1 Additional Qualification (AQ) offered through Western's Faculty of Education.

Western faculty and staff, alumni, community members, and friends have donated to name a special space in the Music Building in honour of Betty Anne Younker, whose term as Dean ends on July 31. The Betty Anne Younker Community Commons (pending approval) will have prominence and visibility in the very building she helped see get built and renovated during her tenure.
