Western’s phased ‘return to campus’ approach provides flexibility to adapt and comply with public health and government protocols, while supporting employees who may face challenges in balancing home life with work. As we gradually transition back to campus, the health and safety of the campus community remains the top priority.
Join us June 1 for a virtual town hall meeting when President Alan Shepard and members of Western’s senior leadership team will discuss the fall term, the phased ‘return to campus’, and research recovery plans.
Additional signage, new rules and regulations, changes to physical spaces. Learn how Western is working to keep the community safe, and the important role of staff and faculty in these efforts.
With the safety of students, trainees, faculty, staff and others as its first priority, Western is working to bring research activities back online by using a four-phase plan of recovery.
Starting June 3, Western employees are welcome to purchase takeout food from Lucy’s in Somerville House (Mon-Fri) or Essex Dining Hall (seven days a week).
Understandably, there are many questions about what the fall term will look like. This update from President Alan Shepard will be shared with students today.
