Cheaper and more efficient clinical trials

Associate Dean of Clinical Research Dr. Amit Garg received $3.4 million from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research to develop a training program that will coach researchers on how to conduct clinical trials more efficiently.

In 1957, Dr. Lewis Milburn became the first Black medical student to graduate from Western. Following his dream of excelling in medicine and military, Milburn left a legacy that inspired many people of colour to join medicine as a career.
